In a reality where our creativity is constantly being stunted, I have turned to making pretty things as a means to try to hold on to my soul. This jewelry collection was a spontaneous creation that came from simply putting together different textures that I was responding to in my surroundings. I do not like to overthink my process as I believe beautiful things are rather self-explanatory, and not everything always needs to stem from a story. Although it can be interpreted as kitschy, but to keep things light with a touch of humor, this video collaboration with Jacqueline is loosely inspired by “asian tourists” and all of their cliches.
